Travertine

Travertine

Travertine is a sedimentary rock, resulting from the  natural or chemical process of segregation of carbonate materials, based on aragonite, that, after crystallization, is forming a primary calcite. In other words, travertine is a type of limestone. However, we are talking about a unique limestone, as hot mineral water releases carbon dioxide, forming a porous surface.

With various shades, from beige and brown to red and even silver, travertine gives good taste and originality to the space where it is used.
